Terms

Terms of use

Plain-language terms for using this FutureFault instance and the software behind it.

The software

FutureFault is released under the MIT License. You may use, copy, modify and distribute it under that license, which provides the software “as is”, without warranty of any kind.

Using this instance

  • Keep your credentials and API keys confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account and keys.
  • Only rehearse code you are authorised to test. The bundled demo service and its data are synthetic.
  • Don’t attempt to break workspace isolation, overload the service, or bypass rate limits and plan limits.
  • The public demo workspace is shared and may be reset by the operator at any time.

What a decision means

A “Promotion allowed” decision means every mandatory rule of the selected policy passed with recorded evidence for the scenarios that were run. It is not a guarantee that software is free of defects. Untested hypotheses and limitations are listed on every decision.

Changes and termination

The operator may change these terms or the service, and may suspend accounts that violate them. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.
